Allow multiple forms as data sources in one GravityView
Use data from multiple forms on one View.
125 votesGravityView has always allowed you to display data from a single form. Now with the new Multiple Forms plugin (https://gravityview.co/extensions/multiple-forms/), you can display data in a View from multiple forms at once.
Here’s how a customer described one way they will use this functionality:
> I would specifically like this feature…so that one set of data like a “Geographic Region” with all the details about that region could then be displayed when a “Business” chooses that same “Region” when creating their entry.
This is now easy to create using the Multiple Forms plugin.

Calendar View
Allow data to be displayed in a Calendar View, (Premium View) , ideally as a month calendar view and a weekly , daily calendar view with the ability to scroll forward and back to prior or upcoming periods.

Allow another option in "single entry" view that displays the entry in the original Gravity form (i.e. same format)
Ideally one option for "single entry" view, or at least single entry edit would be to display the form in the same layout as the original Gravity Form so a user has a familiar interface. At present, the layout of the form is quite different when presented through the edit option in Directory.

Ability to edit an entry
Make it possible for users to edit the entry that they have submitted.
25 votesWe’ve completed Edit Entry functionality!
GravityView now all Gravity Forms fields in the Edit Entries mode. It even supports modifying existing uploads and the great Multiple-File Upload field.
For now, if the user has the ability to edit entries in Gravity Forms, they’ll be able to edit entries in GravityView. Moving forward, we’ll be adding refined controls over who can edit which entries.
We hope you love the functionality. It will be released in a beta update soon.

Add the ability to send e-mail to user
Add the ability to send e-mail to user at different steps of the process (Receive, in progress, Finished...) Can be automated with logic case...

Nested Views

Sometimes you need to create "child" entries from a "parent" view. To see those child entries you need to create another independent view. It would be great that you can see those child entries nested in its parent view. For example you can have "Projects" as a parent view and "Invoices" as (a view of) child entries created from each "project". With nested views it would be possible to see inside each "project" its own "invoices".
Or maybe it is just a matter to make Gravity View compatible with: https://gravitywiz.com/documentation/gravity-forms-nested-forms/

Bulk edit all selected entries from one thing to another (i.e. "Processing" to "Shipped"). Or similar...

Allow AND condition on GVLOGIC, please
it is very very helpful if, AND condition will be included on If- Else statement of gvlogic

In the next update of GravityView, you’ll be able to use AND or OR statements inside the [gvlogic] shortcode.
• Use && to match all values: [gvlogic if=“abc” contains=“a&&b”]
• Use || to match any values: [gvlogic if=“abc” equals=“abc||efg”]The next release will be coming out within a week; keep your eyes out for it.

Add a grid view
It would be great to see a format with entries displayed as a grid view, with the grid displaying a featured image and title only (like http://www.craftsy.com/classes/cake-decorating?_ct=wberqbdql-sbqiiui)

Only results for registered user
It seems we are using this plugin for a slightly different purpose than most users. We have created an online request for service form. We want our logged in users to be able to view ONLY the requests THEY submitted. From a directory stand point this would be like "my listings" I guess. Am I just missing something that is already here?

Add the ability to sort by A-Z pagination.
I want to have the ability to paginate my table using A-Z (eg. First letter of the "Name" column)
I want to have links that run across the top of my table that go:
A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
And when I click a letter, the table only shows me entries that begin with that letter.

Like Yelp, allow entries to have a star rating and allow users to add comments and feedback.

set up different view types between Multiple Entries and Single Entry
for example the Multiple Entries view is set as a Table View, but when drilling into an entry it is formatted as a List View.
Would be helpful for form entries with many entries, each with a lot of fields as a simplified summary could be shown via the Table View, but a formatted summary of the entry with Subheadings and Listing Titles is displayed when selecting the individual entry.13 votesWe're glad to report that you're now able to switch view types between Multiple Entries and Single Entry layouts!

Send a Message to Individual Entries
It would be great to be able to send a message to a client within the directory on the single entry view.
13 votesYou can do this by embedding a Gravity Forms form into a Custom Content field.
Here’s example code, where the Send Message form ID is 3 and the Email field ID is 4 (the email where the message will be sent):

Arrange fields layout totally
Flexibility in arrange fields inside a view. I wish to have full control on how to layout fields inside a view, possibly doing something similar like WP Visual Composer.

Conditional Logic
I think it would be really great if you include a conditional logic for the view. This way, people can make one form for all listing categories.
What I am trying to do now is to create listing for tourism industry. I want to create listing page for Accommodation, Restaurant, Adventures, Land Tour Service. In order to simplify the submiting process, I want to create one page only with url /submit-business/. Later on they will see selection / dropdowns with the four categories above.
The listing will be displayed according to those selection / dropdowns.

With the extension, there’s an additional row in the Sort & Filter options where you can define filters that limit the entries shown.

Enable filtering by values in the directory shortcode
You can filter by specific values by using the filtering controls and linking to the resultant URL, but there are times where you want to embed a directory in a page and have only entries matching specific criteria to show up (e.g. a specific value in a field, or a specific date range) without having to append GET variables to the URL.

Add conditional show/hide functionality at the column level
We can show/hide rows conditionally in Gravity View, but GF allows for field-level visibility by conditions. It would be nice if that same logic could be applied to the single-record view of GV

Conditionally showing and hiding fields was proposed in 2014. I’m pleased to report that we added support for field conditional logic in Version 2.1 of our Advanced Filtering extension!
