Allow multiple forms as data sources in one GravityView
Use data from multiple forms on one View.
GravityView has always allowed you to display data from a single form. Now with the new Multiple Forms plugin (https://gravityview.co/extensions/multiple-forms/), you can display data in a View from multiple forms at once.
Here’s how a customer described one way they will use this functionality:
> I would specifically like this feature…so that one set of data like a “Geographic Region” with all the details about that region could then be displayed when a “Business” chooses that same “Region” when creating their entry.
This is now easy to create using the Multiple Forms plugin.
Features coming soon to the plugin
Multiple Forms is a complex plugin, so we will be rolling out functionality in stages.
Right now, Multiple Forms combines entries from connected forms into a single row. It cannot display entries from multiple forms as separate rows. We know this is a common request, and we will have it ready in the first quarter of 2019.
This functionality will also be coming soon:
- Connect forms based on the values from connected forms (not just values from the parent form)
- Search specific fields on connected forms (currently only “Search All Fields” and the parent form fields are searchable)
- Add support for the Advanced Filtering extension across joined fields

Hi Zack, (Saw your fast reply, Thanks) Maybe I have been going about this all wrong actually. Previously mentioned " Currently using queries to pass the data from multiple forms into one master form and making that form auto submit. Our clients get their views and we get our master view." Does this new feature simplify this function?
Yes, Gravity Forms 2.4 is out, and we'll be releasing a beta as soon as this week! Stay tuned :-)
Gravity Forms 2.4 was relesased on 11/28/2018. Your comment "The fix will be included in Gravity Forms 2.4,". Is this ready?
Hi, Gravity Forms v2.4 Beta 2 is now available. Is the Multiple Forms now released. Or we are still waiting for official GF version. Thank you for info
Not to beat a dead horse, but are there any updates?
Just following up Zack. Can you possibly provide us with feedback of this upcoming functionality?
Is there a beta for this?? I need this so badly for a project!!
I, too, am holding up a project hoping this feature shows up soon. Last I read it was supposed to be working with Gravity 2.3 but I'm not seeing that function... Please update us. Thanks!!!
Any updates? Currently using queries to pass the data from multiple forms into one master form and making that form auto submit. Out clients get their views and we get our master view. Would rather use the solution you are proposing. Is there a forecasted date on the release? Is there a beta?
Any news on the release date? We are eagerly awaiting this feature (which would really save us from having to switch to wpDataTables)
Any update on release time line?
Forecast on potential release date?
Hi Zack, any update on this one? I'm really interested. Will it be released in April as per your comment?
Hi Zack, all my ideas and needs seem to be already in work. Everything I look for is covered you are an awesome team. Hope this feature will be working soon.
