Add a grid view
It would be great to see a format with entries displayed as a grid view, with the grid displaying a featured image and title only (like http://www.craftsy.com/classes/cake-decorating?_ct=wberqbdql-sbqiiui)
We have released the DIY Layout, which allows you to easily turn entries into a grid using some CSS.
Check out the demo I put together: https://demo.gravityview.co/view/diy/
And here’s the code I used to make that layout: https://gist.github.com/zackkatz/7e48220bd153b4f63a24ecb3ea147d6f
I’m working on a complete how-to that will be listed in the DIY Layout docs, so stay tuned here: https://docs.gravityview.co/category/436-diy-layout
Please let me know if this won’t work for your needs, and why. Thanks!

I'd like to be able to filter this based on certain criteria - how would that work?

It would be nice to be able to rearrange the cards on the frontend by dragging and dropping the cards. Giving the user the ability to arrange the information the way they would like to see it on their page.

...with a little CSS this is easy to do. check out these two examples of 3 column grid view:

I would totally like a card view option, simple just as a grid option; especially for a people directory or products this would be perfect. And with the option to scale how many you want on the grid.
Before I decided on using gravityview (much better backend) i experimented with some wordpress plugins for displaying post entries, alsmost went that route.
