10 votesThanks for showing your support for having Edit Entry trigger Gravity Forms notifications!

Ability to reorder the single entry view fields both in the admin side and in the directory.
I would love to be able to reorder the single view to show the most important fields first. In our case many of our form workflows don't match up with what is important for the person using the data. It would be great if we could change the order kind of like other plugins allow you to change category order and post orders.

Let businesses add their location and have the location be mapped with a marker on the Entry page and also on the Directory view.
10 votesWe’ve released the Maps Premium View beta, available to all Galactic license holders on their Account page: https://gravityview.co/account/
We’re working on documentation. The documentation will be available soon on our support page: http://docs.gravityview.co

Conditional logic for Custom Content
Add conditional logic for Custom Content. This way it should be possible to show or hide certain Custom Content fields based on the entry input.
9 votesThis is possible using the [gvlogic] shortcode, introduced in GravityView 1.7.5. Learn how to use it: http://docs.gravityview.co/article/252-gvlogic-shortcode

calculations
I would love to see value totals for my forms. I am currently using it as a sales commission log for my staff and would love to have totals for each month by each sales person without having to export to excel to do a sum total.
9 votesWe have a plugin called Math by GravityView that allows for advanced calculations using Gravity Forms entry data.
The Math plugin is currently only available as part of the GravityView Galactic license. You can learn more about it here: https://gravityview.co/extensions/math/

Option to hide table/listing until user enters search.
I'd like an option that would not show any results in the table or listing until a user performs a search.
9 votesThis is completed in Version 1.5.4, being released later today. Thank you for voting for this feature!

Use dataTables to display directory.
If we use dataTables rather than tablesorter would allow for more customization of the data. More options for searching, quicker searching, and Ajax searches. Not to mention you could add functionality to modify any portion of an entry directly from the table.
9 votesWe’ve completed the core DataTables functionaltiy! It’ll be in the next update so you can take it for a test drive :-)

Beautify current "search filters" by allowing multiple search filters to appear in an attractive single line control
At present, each search filter added seems to appear on it's own next row taking up valuable space and appearing less intuitive. Ideally, an attractive single line control could enhance the user experience. Alternatively, a "select" control could be added to the column header, like MS Excel uses to sub-select, but a "pretty control dashboard above would be very nice.
9 votesWe improved this with 1.1 by making the horizontal layout much better, but we’re not done yet. We’re going to be revamping the search in the future.
Thanks for your feedback!

Choose what fields are editable
Add a field setting for whether or not the field should be editable.
You should be able to choose whether the field is editable by role, similar to the "Make visible for" dropdown field.
The setting should also be able to be overridden using WordPress filters so that more advanced configurations can override visibility.
8 votesThis is now possible in GravityView 1.5, just released!
Thanks for your feedback on this functionality.

Allow some users to download all entries for a form, without logging into the Wordpress backend and using the Import/Export option.

Enable inline edit on a field by field basis
Right now the inline editor extension is activated across the entire view, but it would be great if this could be enabled on a field by field basis in its settings area.
7 votesWe're excited to let you know that we've added the ability to enable Inline Edit per-field when editing on the front-end in GravityView!👋
We're going to be releasing this update in January 2022, but the development is done. If you would like early access and have an Inline Edit license, please send an email to support@gravityview.co.

Datatables Inline Editing
I'd like to see the datatables inline editing (on blur) add-on integrated with GV datatables. This is a requested feature from many clients. Also, I think it's a super quick way to update an entry.
Example is found here: https://editor.datatables.net/examples/inline-editing/options.html
7 votesHi!
I’m happy to share that we’ve released a brand-new Inline Edit plugin that makes it easy to update entries from the frontend. It makes editing entries super-fast.DataTables support isn’t ready yet—we’re working on it, because it’ll be a killer feature—and it will be ready soon.
You can get the plugin here: http://gravityview.co/extensions/gravityview-inline-edit/
It’s really sweet. I hope you enjoy it!

Add sideways scrolling
I like the vertical scrolling for long tables, but what about sideways scrolling for a table that has too many columns to fit even on a full-width page?
7 votesThis is possible by adding some custom CSS to your website! Here’s a doc showing how: http://docs.gravityview.co/article/297-how-to-make-your-table-scroll-horizontally

Ability to sort per category
If directories have multiple groupings (Accounting, Plumber, Widget Makers), it would be great to be able to click somewhere just to see that grouping. If I were to click on "Accounting" and only see Accounting, and not see plumber & widget makers, etc.
6 votesThis has been part of core since launch – thanks for the input!

Translation support with language files (.po .mo)
I don't see any option to translate the plugin into an other language then English. So we can translate it to our native/local language.
6 votesGravityView supports multiple translations: Italian, and Hungarian.
If you’d like to contribute translations, please do so here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/gravityview/
Thanks!

Work with Gravity Forms Chained Selects
Gravity Forms includes a Chained Selects field type. Gravity View is able to treat these field types as "text" when implementing a search, but probably should treat them like Dropdown Select Lists as this is how they are implemented in Gravity Forms.
Chained Selects can be seen here: https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/chained-selects/
