Allow multiple forms as data sources in one GravityView
Use data from multiple forms on one View.
GravityView has always allowed you to display data from a single form. Now with the new Multiple Forms plugin (https://gravityview.co/extensions/multiple-forms/), you can display data in a View from multiple forms at once.
Here’s how a customer described one way they will use this functionality:
> I would specifically like this feature…so that one set of data like a “Geographic Region” with all the details about that region could then be displayed when a “Business” chooses that same “Region” when creating their entry.
This is now easy to create using the Multiple Forms plugin.
Features coming soon to the plugin
Multiple Forms is a complex plugin, so we will be rolling out functionality in stages.
Right now, Multiple Forms combines entries from connected forms into a single row. It cannot display entries from multiple forms as separate rows. We know this is a common request, and we will have it ready in the first quarter of 2019.
This functionality will also be coming soon:
- Connect forms based on the values from connected forms (not just values from the parent form)
- Search specific fields on connected forms (currently only “Search All Fields” and the parent form fields are searchable)
- Add support for the Advanced Filtering extension across joined fields
== Beta is Available Now! ==
Multiple Forms Beta 1 is available now for All Access license holders.
Have an All Access license? Download the plugin now from your GravityView Account page (https://gravityview.co/account/).

If you have questions about the plugin, check out our Multiple Forms docs: (https://docs.gravityview.co/category/524-multiple-forms).
We will be adding many more over the coming weeks, so let us know what questions you have by replying to this email—we’re happy to answer them for you!

Add me to the list of avid Gravity View users who desire this ability. The biggest downside of expanding Gravity Forms to efficiently handle "updates" is the lack of relational abilities. However being able to pull and display data from multiple forms into one View (and do conditional merge tag logic on them) would be a big step in the right direction.

+1 Vote , Great feature idea the ability to search across multiple forms via a single view would be awesome, (depending how efficient it was you could create an onmi search facility for your member site admins.) Also as I use gravity flow, having data from parent and child forms in one view would really allow for a lot of cool use cases.

As we use all gravity forms for registrations, it would be really good to have this feature so the staff can search one page to see all submissions from every form.

Hi Zack. I know you are working on this. Thank you.
I just wanted to give an example of how we would like to use this functionality.
We use this to create an area business directory with the local chamber of commerce. We have two forms: one for members with current paid and active memberships, and another form for non-members. Both forms ask for their business info but the non-members form asks for payment.
We would like submissions from both forms to be included in the same directory.
We love this product but are confused on how to solve this issue.

Really could use this, especially when we need to add a single entry to directory

61 Votes, 2 years, and it's ready - surely?
This seems to me like simple functionality to build that would make the plugin 500% more useful and 1000% more desirable.Could you pass on a snippet to do this?

I would specifically like this feature too, so that one set of data like a "Geographic Region" with all the details about that region could then be displayed when a "Business" chooses that same "Region" when creating their entry. Vote, vote, vote.
