This is a Filter & Sort request - nothing to do with Joins. Allow the creation of a "Custom Value" in the filter & sort. Populate Anything allows for "Custom Value" when populating a field and it is simply creating a value by combining text and merge tags from the available source. Making this functionality available when sorting records on a table essentially turns changes the sort from having 2 levels to having endless level...which would be nirvana!
