Make view data fields fully compatible with GF encrypted fields
Whilst Gravity View views can read data encrypted with GF encrypted fields, the fields cannot be searched or sorted. I don’t know why this is the case. Any chance of looking into this ? I have also contacted the gf encrypted fields plugin support.

Random order
An option to show a list or table view in random order.
1 voteThis will need to wait for Gravity Forms core support. That’s slated to happen this year, not sure when though.

Extensions for facetWP
Extension for facetWP plugin ( https://facetwp.com/ ) would maybe be worth considering? There are extensions for maps, WooCommerce, ACF and many others. Pretty solid plugin. I know you have datatables extension which is nice but all the options for facetWP for ajaxed search, filtering and sorting is top notch.
2 votesI’ve contacted the FacetWP developer, and I’m afraid this isn’t possible until they add core support for Gravity Forms entries.
I love FacetWP as well, sorry this didn’t work!

Allow Grouping of Views into Folders
I have created several views already and it's becoming confusing to manage. Having the capability to group views into folders will really help in determining views that are related to each other.
1 voteThanks for the idea!
We’re going to be adding the ability to define parent Views in the next update, but that won’t help organize your Admin into folders.
Instead, we recommend using a plugin to achieve this. We found this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/folders/ that might do the trick.

Use Templates on Existing Forms not just new ones
Use Templates on Existing Forms. Not just new ones.
1 voteThanks for your submission!
I’m afraid there’s no way to do this because we won’t know the fields that are available.
Instead, you can create a View, then duplicate it if you want an easy way to copy existing settings. Here’s an article showing how to do this: http://docs.gravityview.co/article/105-how-to-duplicate-or-copy-a-view
Please email us at support@gravityview.co if you have any questions about how this works.
Thanks!

Turn GravityView into a CRM
So this might be a bit of a stretch for the what the intentions were of this platform (which is pretty awesome I must say), but if there were a way to create some sort of entry/note/string/comment/etc. attached to a particular person/business profile (one that would be created like a view, but piggy backs onto each entry) it would be able to function as a CRM tool.
I'm trying to enable business customers (users) of our site to use GravityView to capture customer informaton, and then log events (for us, it's when they test the customer's pool). They could then…
1 voteHi Scott – there is something in the works from another company that will fill this need. We’ll work to provide integration with it, when it’s released!

To add some functionality with PHP code
Hi mate, I would like to view my gravity form entries with some functions. I have two number fields in my form. for example both fields contains number from user input. I want to calculate both field in frontend/view, but not storing in database. Just user will show the calculated value.
Another things is that- I have two date value field. I don't want to show up those value. I just want to show days between to dates of some calculation with two dates value.
Both of my requirements need some facilities to write PHP code for desired view.
Please…4 votesWe do not recommend executing PHP inside the Custom Content field itself, because it poses large security risks. Instead, using the filters and shortcodes I describe below are better solutions.
There are two filters you can use to add your own custom PHP code:
- gravityview/fields/custom/content_before
- gravityview/fields/custom/content_after
These filters allow you to add your own custom PHP to the Custom Content field by using the add_filter() WordPress function in combination with either of the filters above.
You can also use shortcodes inside the Custom Content field.
You will be able to have your field say “Hello World” if you want by doing this:
- Add a Custom Content field
- Set the Custom Content field content to: [hello_world]
- Add this code to your functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/zackkatz/866157910ab5ecc102cc
This uses the add_shortcode() function to “hide” the PHP functions inside nice-looking text called a shortcode. You can generate your own code here: http://generatewp.com/shortcodes/

Chart
Chart
Views of data bases in chart mode7 votesThanks for voting for better charting functionality in GravityView!
We highly recommend using the great GFChart plugin to display charts and graphs using Gravity Forms data.
It’s already great, and we are working with the GFChart developers to continue improving integration with GravityView.

Add an option to remove the 'Show entry in directory view?' column from an entry list
The 'Show entry in directory view?' column, visible when viewing a form's list of entries, should be removable using Gravity Form's column controls. If you don't use this feature, it consumes valuable real estate if you have a lot of columns, and is distracting.
It is also shown even when a form doesn't have any views connected to it, which seems a bit excessive.
1 voteI realize this was reported in September, but I wanted to follow up on it. The table column header should appear as the astronaut’s helmet, not the actual text. It seems like this was caused by a CSS bug. Please let me know if that’s not the case.

E-Mail an entry
It would be great to be able to e-mail an entry - either directly from the multiple view table or a single entry view.
It would be great if once you clicked it you had an option to email it to the notification routing you setup in the form or to specified email addresses.
5 votesThis is a duplicate of another entry, so we’re closing this idea. https://gravityview.uservoice.com/forums/238941-gravityview/suggestions/6130587-edit-entry-notification
We’re looking into the best way to do this. Thanks for voting!

Allow users to "Claim" an entry
Allow users to claim an existing entry then edit it. For example, in a business directory, businesses could click a "Claim this entry" link, request edit access, then when edit access is granted, they would be the "owner" of the entry.
30 votesGood news: you can claim an entry in GravityView using the Gravity Flow plugin (https://gravityflow.io) as described in this how-to article (http://docs.gravityflow.io/article/144-gravityview-claim-an-entry).
