Add zip code search function capabilities.
Not sure if this feature already exists but I would really like readers to search for local events/entries within the directory using a postal code.

When you start a new view I would like to have a advance editor where i can move boxes around and decide what should be there.

Custom Sign for empty value
I have added multiple fields. some of my field has value for some entries and also empty value for other entries. Please allow to put a "-" sign or users custom sign for empty value without harming the database.
suppose: i have a field (not mandatory) as "Mobile Number". some entries has filled it also some other entries did not filled it. when i'm showing single or multiple entries view its sowing values for filled entries and empty for not filled entries. i want an option where i can select a sign like "-" if there is any empty value…2 votesThanks for the idea!
In the next update, you’ll be able to use the `gravityview_empty_value` filter to define a custom value for empty fields.
The next update will also add ability to hide empty fields, which will be the default way of handling this issue.

Ability to reorder the single entry view fields both in the admin side and in the directory.
I would love to be able to reorder the single view to show the most important fields first. In our case many of our form workflows don't match up with what is important for the person using the data. It would be great if we could change the order kind of like other plugins allow you to change category order and post orders.

Encrypting "mailto"-Links, so spam robots can't crawl it.

New View Preloaded 'templates'
Prefill the multi-entry header and footers with appropriate fields (search up the top, pagination and links down the bottom). It saves time and cuts down on creating new views.

Use dataTables to display directory.
If we use dataTables rather than tablesorter would allow for more customization of the data. More options for searching, quicker searching, and Ajax searches. Not to mention you could add functionality to modify any portion of an entry directly from the table.

Add the ability to sort by A-Z pagination.
I want to have the ability to paginate my table using A-Z (eg. First letter of the "Name" column)
I want to have links that run across the top of my table that go:
A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
And when I click a letter, the table only shows me entries that begin with that letter.

Allow another option in "single entry" view that displays the entry in the original Gravity form (i.e. same format)
Ideally one option for "single entry" view, or at least single entry edit would be to display the form in the same layout as the original Gravity Form so a user has a familiar interface. At present, the layout of the form is quite different when presented through the edit option in Directory.

Enable filtering by values in the directory shortcode
You can filter by specific values by using the filtering controls and linking to the resultant URL, but there are times where you want to embed a directory in a page and have only entries matching specific criteria to show up (e.g. a specific value in a field, or a specific date range) without having to append GET variables to the URL.

Beautify current "search filters" by allowing multiple search filters to appear in an attractive single line control
At present, each search filter added seems to appear on it's own next row taking up valuable space and appearing less intuitive. Ideally, an attractive single line control could enhance the user experience. Alternatively, a "select" control could be added to the column header, like MS Excel uses to sub-select, but a "pretty control dashboard above would be very nice.
9 votesWe improved this with 1.1 by making the horizontal layout much better, but we’re not done yet. We’re going to be revamping the search in the future.

Allow entries to be reviewed and rated
Like Yelp, allow entries to have a star rating and allow users to add comments and feedback.

Add mapping functionality to entries
Let businesses add their location and have the location be mapped with a marker on the Entry page and also on the Directory view.

Give users an opt-in/opt-out option for inclusion in directory
Give users the choice to set their directory listing to private, public, or invisible, etc.

Add "Featured" or "Sponsored" Entries support
Allow administrators to feature entries to show up at the top of the results with a highlighted design. This will be good for featured entries or sponsored entries.

Add a business listing template design like Yelp
It's hard to get the output looking good - it would be nice to have a predesigned template designed for business layout.
