Give an option to change the message "NO ENTRIES MATCH YOUR REQUEST."
Just doesn't fit for my purpose. I'd like to be able to provide my own text here.
1 voteHello – this is currently possible using the `gravityview_no_entries_text` filter.
Read how to modify it here: https://gravityview.co/support/documentation/203394079/
Thanks!

Conditional logic for Custom Content
Add conditional logic for Custom Content. This way it should be possible to show or hide certain Custom Content fields based on the entry input.
9 votesThis is possible using the [gvlogic] shortcode, introduced in GravityView 1.7.5. Learn how to use it: http://docs.gravityview.co/article/252-gvlogic-shortcode
Thanks for supporting this idea!

Add a grid view
It would be great to see a format with entries displayed as a grid view, with the grid displaying a featured image and title only (like http://www.craftsy.com/classes/cake-decorating?_ct=wberqbdql-sbqiiui)
17 votesWe have released the DIY Layout, which allows you to easily turn entries into a grid using some CSS.
Check out the demo I put together: https://demo.gravityview.co/view/diy/
And here’s the code I used to make that layout: https://gist.github.com/zackkatz/7e48220bd153b4f63a24ecb3ea147d6f
I’m working on a complete how-to that will be listed in the DIY Layout docs, so stay tuned here: https://docs.gravityview.co/category/436-diy-layout
Please let me know if this won’t work for your needs, and why. Thanks!

Allow filtering on Merge Tags (i.e. field = user meta data)
It would be great to allow views to be filtered according to [Field Name] = {user:[meta_key]}, just like Gravity Forms lets you set the default value for fields to be equal to user meta-data.
This would allow filtering by user role, custom meta data (e.g. for sites using Members or user meta-data plug-ins) and (in combination with some more advanced edit view permissions) opens the door to a variety of workflow scenarios.

Changelog for entries
Like a WP article, show who edited what in the entry. If possible with an opportunity to restore an entry to a previous date.
3 votesThis is now possible with our Entry Revisions plugin: https://gravityview.co/extensions/entry-revisions/

E-mail when entry is updated
Send an email when the entry is updated, like GF.
1 voteThanks for the suggestion—here’s a plugin that will send notifications when an entry is updated: https://github.com/katzwebservices/GravityView-Enable-Notifications

Add a short code parameter for entry ID
I'd like to be able to embed a View in a post such that a specific, designated single entry shows up. For example, if my view is a directory of people, I may want to have the entry for Frank Jones show up in the bottom of a particular post. Right now I can accomplish this with something like: [gravityview id='863' searchfield="2" searchvalue="jones"] but if we have more than one Jones, we'll get more than one result. So I'd like to be able to do this: [gravityview id='863' entry-id="3"] where the ID for the Frank Jones entry is…
4 votesThis is possible with the [gventry] shortcode—just set the Entry ID and the View ID it’s connected to, and you’re all set! https://docs.gravityview.co/article/463-gventry-shortcode

Choose a drop-down gravityform field to 'link' to a sortable menubar in the top widget
This would be selectable through a 'link' to a drop-down gravityform field selection in the 'above entry widget' and would create a menu bar across the 'above entry widget' area. The menu would also automatically include an 'ALL' option which would undo any prior sorting. The default list displayed on the page would always be unsorted

Allow me to get technical support without re-entering my details if I'm already logged in
I'm already logged in to the Gravity View website. I have a simple technical query (how to show a zero value when a field is empty).
I do not want to fill out my personal details again and work out whether I'm allowed to list my dev environment as my website so I don't burn up all my licenses etc. Please... I've paid, make my life simple!

Choose what fields are editable
Add a field setting for whether or not the field should be editable.
You should be able to choose whether the field is editable by role, similar to the "Make visible for" dropdown field.
The setting should also be able to be overridden using WordPress filters so that more advanced configurations can override visibility.
8 votesThis is now possible in GravityView 1.5, just released!
Thanks for your feedback on this functionality.

Duplicate View
I'd like to be able to duplicate a "View" instead of having to create a new one each time.
1 voteWe’ve added this functionality in Version 1.6, out now! Thanks for voting for this idea.

Allow/Restrict, Show/Hide fields in edit entry
it will be best option if the feature Allow/Restrict fields in edit. Assume that i have 10 fields in a form with a field named by email address. i don't want user to edit this field cause its unique and i have added a registration previously with this email. now when user edits there entries they would not be able to edit this or some specific fields which i have selected in single entry view settings prior.
The main purpose of the feature will be: user can set which fields will show in edit entry and which field will hide…2 votesThis is now possible in GravityView 1.5, just released!

User can only SEE his/her own entry
Love that users can edit their own submitted entries. But what if you want to prevent them from seeing other entries at all? When specifying "make visible only to ..." would it be possible to add an option that meant a user could log in and only see his own submission?
1 voteHi Justin,
Thanks for submitting the idea – I’m happy to report that it’s already possible using the Advanced Filtering extension that’s included with Interstellar and Galactic licenses.Check out this how-to article: https://gravityview.co/support/documentation/200910459/
Thanks,

Send a Message to Individual Entries
It would be great to be able to send a message to a client within the directory on the single entry view.
13 votesYou can do this by embedding a Gravity Forms form into a Custom Content field.
Here’s example code, where the Send Message form ID is 3 and the Email field ID is 4 (the email where the message will be sent):
[gravityform id=“3” field_values=“email={Email:4}”]

Enable YouTube video embeds
Being able to include embedded youtube videos in listings would be fantastic. I did find a workaround but it caused conflicts. However, it looked great, which makes me think this would be a really good addition if possible.
1 voteThis is actually already done in the next release!
Thanks for the idea.

calculations
I would love to see value totals for my forms. I am currently using it as a sales commission log for my staff and would love to have totals for each month by each sales person without having to export to excel to do a sum total.
9 votesWe have a plugin called Math by GravityView that allows for advanced calculations using Gravity Forms entry data.
The Math plugin is currently only available as part of the GravityView Galactic license. You can learn more about it here: https://gravityview.co/extensions/math/

Add a link to Form Entries from Edit View screen and WP bar
It takes multiple steps to view (and approve) entries (Dashboard > Forms > Form used in View > Entries) and I find I often want to go to the Entries page from the Edit View screen. A link from the Edit View screen to the entry listings of the form associated with that view would be very helpful. Also, it would be great to have that link at the top WP bar (where is now has "Edit View") as well.
2 votesForm links have been added Edit View in Version 1.2, coming soon.
Thanks!

Create different css classes for labels vs. content
It would be very helpful to have all labels be assigned a class (e.g. gv-label) and entry content assigned another class (e.g. gv-content) so that it would be easier to style both. As of now, the only way to style seems to be to use the <h1,2,3,4, etc> and <p> selectors, but this is not ideal. And, a significant problem (maybe more a bug than a feature request), in the footer there are no formatting elements at all so no selectors to style the label differently from the content -- which makes the label run into the content and so…
